What is your motivation fuel?

Occasionally, you stop everything to reflect: what is my purpose? So many things have been happening. The coronavirus epidemic has got all of us thinking. It has affected the poor and the rich, the educated and the illiterate, the young and the old, the celebrities and the nobodies equally.

Few people have continued their normal routines without disruption.

Now is the time to reflect and think deeply about your life’s purpose. With more than 50,000 people dying due to the covid19 pandemic, life is fragile. Many of these people were living lives that others just dream of. Had great families, jobs, and lots of resources at their disposal. But the pandemic just snatched them from all these.

In tough times like these, you need to find a purpose or a cause that is worth living for. You need to create internal motivation fuel to keep you going…

What is it that you are working towards? Once you identify and define it, make a conscious effort to never give up, whatever the circumstances. Make sure you do not let present bad conditions to define your future. Instead, use your current conditions as your motivation fuel.

When things are tough and life is very difficult, remember there are many other people have it worse than you. Avoid comparing yourself to others because you do not know what they are going through. No one has everything they need. Everyone has their problems and challenges. Because without such, we do not grow. The poor admire the rich. The rich admire the richest. The richest admire the leaders. The leaders admire the worry-free middle class. Those admire celebrities. The cycle continues…

Covid19 is here. And it is affecting us all. The winners shall be those people who plan and use the suffering and challenges brought about by covid19 as a motivator to thrive. While in school, every time I would be bullied or laughed at for lacking anything, I would use that as fuel to read harder and be the best. That is how I was able to perform very well.

And I find that trick of using adversaries and pains as a motivator to be one of the best tools you can use to win in every situation.

Find your purpose and don’t allow any negative energy to stop you.
